Shift Leader – Curry Club Antwerp (Take-out kitchen)


Functie

Work in our takeaway kitchen in a small team. Split shifts between packing orders, communicating with drivers, leading team of students and running shifts in the kitchen. Committed to giving the best experience possible, delivering the Mission style of service.

FRONT OF HOUSE

  • Lead the startup & shutdown of a shift.
  • Pack food as per instructions and guidelines
  • Co-ordinate a team of students and flexis, raining newcomers.
  • Maintain an overview of packaging supplies.
  • Delegate & divide tasks, ensure everyone is equipped to do their job.
  • Troubleshoot when technical issues occur.

KITCHEN TASKS

  • Hot & cold preparation: chopping, frying & heating.
  • Operate the fryer & oven during service.
  • Prepare food as per instructions and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the (culinary) team to ensure high-quality food and service
  • Support day kitchen with MEP & festival preps.
  • Respect safety standards during the work & maintain a clean workspace and take care of kitchen tools.
  • Ensure all FAVV & HACCP regulations are followed. (From labelling, storing, FIFO and logging reports)
  • Cleaning and restoring everything for the next shift.

Jouw profiel

  • Good level of English both written & spoken
  • Able to follow and execute under instruction & good in communication.
  • Team player & trouble-shooter
  • Experience in a kitchen OR willingness to learn. Coordinating small to medium sized teams in the workplace is a plus.

  • De organisatie commercieel en administratief opvolgen
  • De voorraad opvolgen, tekorten vaststellen
    Bestellingen plaatsen
  • De werking opvolgen
    Waken over de klanttevredenheid
  • Basisonderhoud van ruimtes en uitrusting superviseren
